The Homework Heroes are here!

Getting children to complete homework is hard - which is why we have introduced Homework Heroes!

The Homework Heroes are a collectable card series designed and produced by Inspire, which feature a range of ancient warriors and inspiring historical heroes!

In our vast experience of observing and reflecting on the behaviour of children at Inspire – we have learnt that children LOVE collecting cards, toys, books and anything that is a limited edition. By creating a series of collectables to be used as rewards in the homework room, we hope to motivate the kids to try their hardest!

It’s a win-win for children, families and our educators!

So how does it work?

1. Complete Homework

We support children with their school homework, and any other learning resources they bring to Inspire. If children do not have any homework to complete, we provide extension learning booklets that are designed by teachers to supplement the children’s school homework (Numeracy Club, Literacy Club & All About Series)

2. Earn Points

By completing either their school homework, or one of Inspire’s learning booklets the children can earn points, and once they collect enough points they will be rewarded with a homework hero card pack!

3. Collect them all

For homework heroes’ first wave there are 8 cards to collect; 4 hero character cards and 4 tribe cards. Each term we’ll be release more and more heroes – stay tuned!

Our educators and dedicated support squad are trained to support children with their school homework

We understand that parents are busy, and often don’t have the time to assist with, or help correct homework - this is what our educators and support squad are for. We help correct your child’s work as they go, and are there to help whenever they need assistance.

We want children to be confident learners, and take the time to try to TEACH children different strategies, rather than giving them the answers when this ask for help

As children earn points for their Homework Heroes, we ensure that the work they are completing is up to standard. This allows the children to receive feedback, and an increased confidence in their ability when they no longer require assistance.
