TAEKWONDO & GRADING DAY
+ Can my child grade at the centre?
No, to be non-partisan to all our families, grading at the centre will be declined. There are no special circumstances in which grading at the centre will be allowed. The only exception is for children that have attended grading and have been marked non-competent and require the final assessment after further practice. This will only be the components that needs to improved and not a full grading. I.e., Improving their Taekwondo Poomsae.
+ What if I can't attend grading day?
If you cannot attend grading for whatever reason, our solution will be to allow your child to train in the higher belt groups at the centre so they can still enjoy all aspects of Taekwondo.
+ How many grading does Inspire Program run each year?
Inspire Program holds FOUR Taekwondo Gradings each year, approximately on the 8 th week of each school term. Previously, we have only held TWO per year so this increase gives more chances to children who cannot attend a particular Grading event.
+ How can my child double grade?
Double grading is when a child’s skill level exceeds their current belt rank and has the capability to grade to the following belt rank, I.e., White belt to Yellow Stripe. If you think your child is able, they first must be cleared by the centre’s instructor and final approval will be required through the Head Taekwondo Instructor. Double gradings have exceptionally high standards and usually reserved for children who have trained are currently training in Taekwondo and have a higher rank at another club, previously trained in Taekwondo or in another Martial Art.
