The Captain of the Ship
Availability: Generally between 2:00pm - 6:30pm (Monday to Friday, during school terms)
Additional Hours: More hours are available for responsible person position
Responsible Persons are the leaders that have a duty of care for the children, parents and their crew mates. They ensure the program and all of Inspire’s safety procedures are done to the highest standard possible while maintaining a strong rapport with everyone on board. They have leadership skills to give directions to the team and the vision to create the best experience for the children. The list of responsibilities for a centre manager is forever on going, so being able to multitask is a must.
Applicants need to have:
A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or must be willing to obtain one before commencing work.
A Valid Police Check or must be willing to obtain one before commencing work.
A Valid First Aid Certificate for Childcare (HLTAID012) or must be willing to obtain one before commencing work.
A Valid Child Protection Certificate (CHCPRT001) or must be willing to obtain one before commencing work.
The ideal applicant will have:
Willingness to work in a highly dynamic team which consists of Educators, Support Squad and Taekwondo Instructors.
A can-do attitude in an industry which constantly strives to provide better care for children from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Strong leadership skills to be able to manage the daily operations of a lively and functioning childcare service.
Previous experience in childcare prior is preferable.
