Grading day is a big exciting day for our children and parents. As the children showcase their Taekwondo skills. What better way to reward and motivate our Inspire families, than to have our local talent from CYL Lion & Dance come out and give two traditional Lion dance shows across the day.
CYL Lion & Dance performed with the gong, cymbals, drums and two Lions! The children were nervous at first but soon realised they were friendly Lions. The team showcased their acrobatic skills and rheumatic drumming that shook the floor.
It is safe to say the children, families and staff were all very impressed by the performance and cannot wait for the CYL Lion & Dance to visit us again for a fantastic day.
Lion dancing represents joy and happiness. People perform lion dances to bring good luck and to repel bad energy.
