Guide Dogs NSW visit Inspire

Guide dogs came to visit a few of our centres to inform the young minds of Inspire on how they support the community in need. Guide dogs is an organisation that delivers essential services to children, teenagers, adults, and older Australians who are blind or have low vision.

The children at inspire were of course so excited to see a dog at the centre. However they were reminded that guide dogs are working throughout the day with their owner to help with their vision impairment. The children had a chance to use the guide dogs themselves. Our visitors were even happy for our children to have a pat after the information talk.

Organisations coming in to the centres to talk to our children are so important because it allows our children to be more actively involved in their community through first hand information.
