The RSPCA have taken the time to visit multiple centres (in the Hills and North Shore) to talk about their role in caring for animals, enforcing the law to prevent animal cruelty and advocate for environmental issues. The children understanding more about animal welfare allows them to take care of animals they come into contact with and currently in their care.
Every visit with the RSPCA has been very informative and allows children to be a part of the on going care of animals by asking questions and following that up with the appropriate actions.
With each visit we were fortunate for the RSPCA to come out with an animal for the children to see and interact. They were very excited that they couldn’t sit still. To thank the RSPCA the children gave our wonderful presenters with a box of chocolates and a thank you card.
